Hard to believe another year went by and and here we are at this year's Neurology Residents Graduation Party. Our three graduates were very happy recipients of tatted bookmarks.
I don't believe I've seen the middle bookmark before, unless I've not seen it in green thread, which gives it an 'Irish' look! I'm curious about the pattern.
You've been attending some nice parties, and everybody dresses up, which is rare these days!
Pretty bookmarks. Did you write up the pattern for the middle one? It looks a little like http://yuenmancraft.blogspot.com/2010/05/tatting-onion-ring-bookmark.html or http://www.be-stitched.com/pattern0703edging.asp but you figured out an END!
I learned to needle tat in November 2003 and tatted on my own until I met up with the Oklahoma Shuttle Bugs in Kingfisher, OK in July 2004. Gina Butler taught me to shuttle tat and I haven't been able to stop since. Once I joined the Lace Guild of Oklahoma I started learning bobbin lace and Romanian Point Lace. With the help of a couple of beading magazine subscriptions I am teaching myself various beading stitches.
i really really like the top bookmark.
ReplyDeleteThose are really great bookmarks!!! :)
