I have a blouse where the v-neck is so big that I decided I had to tat a lace insert for it. And this is the result. I used a Star Size 70 thread and the pattern is by Teri Dusenbury. Teri has an extensive pattern library that she very generously shares with all of us. Thank you Teri, I love your patterns! I still have to sew it to the blouse. This is my motif # 7 the second time around.
And here is the URL for Teri's patterns: http://teritatbitdusenbury.wordpress.com/tatbit-patterns
That looks very nice! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tatting!

Lovely! I like the pattern and I'll bet it looks good with the top.
ReplyDeleteI really LOVE this design of Teri's and recognized it right away, but I have yet to try it. You've tatted it beautifully - and with size 70 thread!
ReplyDeleteIt is so generous of Teri to share so many of her patterns online. Her blog is also a marvelous source for vintage books and patterns and the history of tatting. Her own tatting history is also fascinating, not to mention her bringing the split ring back to life! She also insists on front-side/back-side tatting, which was 'news' to me when I bought her Tatting Hearts book in 1994. I 'try' to achieve it, but am not always successful!
